Founded in 1921, this certified organic winery is still being run by the same family four generations later and focuses on growing three local varietals; Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Late owner Enrico Scavino had been working in the vineyards since he was 10 years old and had a true passion for winemaking and passed that on to his daughters. This red is a blend of Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Merlot creating a fresh, aromatic wine full of red cherries and spice. It is a food friendly wine that pairs well with many vegetarian dishes, white meats or even goat cheese.
